Henry Cavill, the face behind Superman

Most of you know Henry Cavill as the man who played Superman and Charles Brandon in ‘The Tudors’. Here is everything you need to know about him.

Henry William Dalgliesh Cavill (Jersey 5-5-83) is a British actor. Cavill grew up in Jersey. A small island between England and France. He studied at the St. Michael’s Preparatory School before he was sent to Stowe School. A boarding school near Buckingham. He starred in many plays organized by the school.

Cavill auditioned for the lead role in Batman Begins, but lost to Christian Bale. In 2005, he applied for the role as James Bond. Although he enjoyed the sympathy of the director, the producers thought he was too young and eventually Daniel Craig was selected.
He even did an audition for the role as Superman in ‘Superman: Returns’, but also without success. In December 2005, Empire baptized Cavill as “the most unlucky man in Hollywood.”
Then Cavill got a starring role in the television series ‘The Tudors’, in which he plays the role as “Charles Brandon.” Brandon Duke Of Suffolk, Brother Of Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn and also Enemy. Cavill is now the new Superman in the movie ‘Man Of Steel’ (2013) and ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ (2016).
Cavill loves rugby, but because of his injuries he doesn’t play anymore.
